The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th Anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founding father, W.O. Bentley and even includes a piece of one of his cars.
The special model which is available on either a long-wheelbase or regular-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed, was inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. Other highlights include a chrome-colored application running across the back of the car with an air vent that is photoetched which incorporates W.O. The front grille is unique, sporting chrome mesh instead of the standard body-color mesh like that of the regular Mulsanne and also featuring the Flying B logo as well.
A key box engraved with the Bentley wings holds two keys and has a black flock lining. individual key pouches are also available to complement or stand out from the key box. The set commemorative also includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and flying paperweight, plus an illustrated brochure that includes never-before-seen photos of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
